Developing a model for quality management of student affairs at Municipal School 3 (Sophonpittayakunanuson) under Hat Yai City Municipality, Songkhla Province
This research and development have a purpose 1) to study basic information Regarding student affairs administration guidelines for use as components and indicators for developing a model of student affairs quality management at Municipal School 3 (Sophonpittayakunanuson), Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province 2) To create and develop a model for quality management of student affairs at Municipal School 3 (Sophonpittayakunanuson), Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province. 3) To assess the model of student affairs quality management at Municipal School 3 (Sophonpittayakunanuson), Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province. The research results are as follows:
1. The results of the study of basic information from documents, theories, principles, and related research. and a study of student affairs administration guidelines in educational institutions of schools under Hat Yai Municipality, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. The researcher has synthesized the issues used as components and indicators for the development of the model. It consists of four components: 1) Principles and Objectives 2) Structure of Student Affairs Management 3) Personnel Development and Use of Technology and 4) Student Affairs Quality Management Process It was found that the results of the analysis of student affairs management in schools under Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province 5 except Municipality 3 School (Sophonpittayakunanuson) under Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province. a lot (x-bar=4.10, S.D.=0.16)
2 The results of the analysis of needs and necessities in the implementation of student affairs administration at Municipal School 3 (Sophonpittayakunanuson) under Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province with 4 components, in fact and desirable condition in the overall picture. It was found that in the actual condition, the opinions were at a moderate level (μ=3.36,δ=0.43) while in the desirable condition, the opinions were at the highest level ( ).
3. The results of the development of a model of student affairs quality management at Municipal School 3 (Sophonpittayakunanuson) under Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province consisted of 5 components, details as follows: 1. Principles and objectives of participatory student affairs quality management.2 Structure of student affairs quality management. 3. Personnel development and use of technology to manage the quality of student affairs. 4 Student Affairs Quality Management Process. 5 factors of success in managing the quality of student affairs.
4. The results of the opinion level analysis towards the appropriateness of the draft quality management model for student affairs at Municipal School 3 (Sophonpittayakunanuson) under Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province. by 5 experts, in overall, it was found that is appropriate at the highest level(¯X=4.71,S.D.=0.19) . When considered separately, it was found that the fifth component was the success factor in the quality management of student affairs. have the highest average is appropriate at the highest level (¯X=4.95,S.D.=0.11). The fourth component of the student affairs quality management process have the lowest average is appropriate at the highest level (μ=4.57,δ=0.22). which passed the criteria for assessing the suitability of the model every element.
5. The results of using the model for quality management of student affairs at Municipal School 3 (Sophonpittayakunanuson) under Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province. The opinions of teachers and educational personnel involved in student affairs at Municipal 3 School (Sophonpittayakunanuson) under Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province, totaling 53 persons. It was found that the overall probability was at the highest level (¯X=4.51,S.D.=0.26). which passed the criteria for assessing the feasibility of the model. When considering each component, it was found that the possibility The mean was between 4.46 – 4.55 which passed the feasibility assessment criteria for every component. The second component is the quality management structure of student affairs. have the highest average At the highest level (¯X=4.55,S.D.=0.36). As for the usefulness of the model as a whole, it was found that the utility of the model was at the highest level (¯X=4.68,S.D.=0.13). passed the criteria for assessing the utility of all elements of the model. 6. The results of the satisfaction assessment towards the model of quality management of student affairs at Municipal School 3 (Sophonpittayakunanuson) under Hat Yai Municipality, Songkhla Province. The samples were selected by specific (Purposive Sampling) from the three populations. It was calculated using Yamane’s formula as follows: 54 teachers and educational personnel, 14 basic education committees, 261 primary school parents, 339 total person.Overall, it was found that the satisfaction level was at the highest level (¯X=4.69,S.D.=0.19). which is considered to pass the satisfaction level assessment criteria. Whenconsidering each aspect, it was found that all aspects passed the same satisfaction level assessment criteria. with the aspect of the quality management structure of student affairs have the highest average Satisfaction at the highest level (¯X=4.73,S.D.=0.27). followed by success factors in the quality management of student affairs Satisfaction at the highest level (¯X=4.70,S.D.=0.26).Section on principles/objectives for quality management of student affairs have the lowest average Satisfaction at the highest level (¯X=4.63,S.D.=0.42).
